Providing Everything You Need for NAET Treatments

Wellness Consultation - Your initial visit
Before diving straight into a NAET treatment, new patients need to understand that it's not a one-size-fits-all process. You can’t just waltz in, point at your peanut butter allergy, and expect immediate relief! The body is complicated, and your allergies or sensitivities might be tied to underlying issues that need to be unravelled first. Think of it like peeling an onion—without the tears (hopefully).
NAET specialists start by testing for various factors that could be blocking your body’s natural healing abilities. Once they’ve identified what’s throwing your system out of whack—whether it's food allergies, environmental sensitivities, or even emotional stress—they can tailor a treatment plan just for you. It’s like having a personalized map to get your immune system back on track!
Why You Can’t Skip Straight to Treatment:
-
Underlying issues: Allergies are often just the tip of the iceberg, and a deeper investigation is needed to find out what’s causing the immune system to overreact.
-
Personalized care: Each body is different, and treatments need to be based on your unique reactions and sensitivities.
-
Holistic approach: NAET doesn’t just treat symptoms; it aims to restore balance in your body. But first, the specialist needs to figure out where the balance went wrong in the first place.
NAET Treatment
In a typical NAET treatment session, the practitioner first tests your body’s response to specific allergens using muscle testing (one method is that you’ll hold up your arm when your practitioner presses against your hand while holding a vial with the allergen). Once the allergen is identified, they use acupressure to stimulate key points on your body, helping to "reprogram" your immune system's response to that allergen. Afterward, you’ll be asked to avoid the allergen for about 25 hours to let the treatment take effect. The goal is to reduce or eliminate your sensitivity to the allergen over time.
